A curated timeline of Star Wars live-action adventure broken down into 63 chapters, covering the Old and New Republics, the Galactic Empire and Age of Rebellion, the New Republic, and beyond
Part 1 – The Age of the Old and High Republics
The mega Star Wars (SW) story – a tale of heroes and villains; alien species; epic wars over exotic worlds; the Jedi and their nemeses the Sith, and the age old war between light and darkness, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
The spine of this sci-fi universe consists of the ‘Skywalker Saga’ – the story of how the great Jedi Anakin Skywalker was turned to the Dark Side before his son Luke guided him to his redemption during the age-old Republic’s collapse and the Galactic Empire’s rise. So many other stories swirl around this, however: The machinations of Sith Lords such as Darth Revan and Darth Bane; Obi-Wan Kenobi’s story, from childhood to post ‘Order 66’ trauma; the growth of the Rebel Alliance until victory; and then the adventures of the Mandalorian, Boba Fett and Ahsoka in the evil Empire’s aftermath, among many other tales.
Please note:
It consists of English language, live-action productions.
All the fan films can be found on Youtube.
It’s a timeline based on the events Before and After the Battle of Yavin (BBY/ABY). That is the famous battle when Darth Vadar’s ‘Death Star’ was destroyed in the original SW movie: Star Wars: A New Hope, Episode IV. Released in 1978, Episode IV wowed audiences and gave rise to a global SW fan-cult millions strong. This is for you fans. Enjoy!
